Recent Commission well under way
December 2024
My Painting commision has almost reached the top of Normanby rd project in South Bank. GALLERY IN THE SKY…a Charity initiative by CREMA CONSTRUCTIONS that has reproduced my original artwork to a very large scale and mounted on the side of one of their new construction sites, in Southbank. It will be exhibited and elevated there during its construction to 33 levels. The art work is titled HARVEST and is depicting the giving of nature to the human entity.
Beaumaris Art Group Exhibition
November 2024
I have entered 2 sculptures in the Beaumaris Art Group Members exhibition which opened on the 24th. There are over 140 works in painting, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media and I was fortunate to receive a Highly Commended award for 1 of my sculptures titled MIST. The exhibition runs for several weeks at the Beaumaris Library.

ART PRIZE EXHIBITION

Two of my sculptures have been entered into the Hue and Cry art prize exhibition in Geelong. The Exhibition will open on the 31st August and run until 21st September.

RECENT EXHIBITION
June 2024
Acknowledging the great response to my recent exhibition titled JOURNEY at the Angela Robarts-Bird Gallery - Gas Works Arts Park. It was a great experience to be exhibiting again and committing to the challenge to create the body of paintings and sculpture. It was creatively very rewarding and fulfilling allowing me to reconnect and share my artwork with an audience. The journey will continue with more creative works in the pipeline, both for exhibitions and commissions. More details to come.
I had the good fortune to work with Pietro Giordano as the curator of his 2024 exhibition, ‘Journey’, at Gasworks Arts Park.
Pietro presented abstract sculptures and paintings that converged into a powerful yet warm interpretation of humans and the importance of ‘place’ in our psyche. The crisp lines of each sculpture and in each painting fused perfectly to create a very cohesive and skilful exhibition.
