Artist Statement

My artwork explores the fusion between abstraction and realism. Layers of texture and colour depicting imaginary figurative images that speak to the landscape and urbanscape environments. Geometric shapes are connected by line and form and filled by various patterns, shades and tones creating a variety of patinated finishes. I enjoy creating and working with both painting and sculpture as they complement my passion for creative expression.
